WASHINGTON DC - The Genetic

Genome Celibration (Washington DC on June 8-10). As part of this celebration
the is offering an essay
contest in which youths aged 11-18 can enter. there were over 150 entrants
from all over he worls. The GA selcted the best 13
essays and as prize entrants and one other adult were given a free trip
to DC to attend the Human Genome Celebration as well as do sightseeing. The
GA selected Breanna Winger. If that name sounds familiar to XLH Network members,
it should. Breanna is none other than Larry Winger's daughter, the founder of
the XLH Network! We are proud of Breanna's achievement and also delighted not
only for her achievement but also for Breanna's eloquent essay. This wonderful
award not only allows Breanna and her family to hilight the importance of genetic
research but also allows Larry to represent the XLH Network at this important
event.
