Physicians who specialize in the treatment of X-linked Hypophosphatemia (XLH) are conducting a study on a possible new medication for the treatment for XLH. Study participants will receive testing free of change. If you 18 or older and you are affected by this disease you may qualify. XLH is also known as X-Linked Hypophosphatemia (sometimes also spelled as hypophosphataemia), X-Linked Hypophosphatemic Rickets, Familial Hypophosphatemia, Vitamin D-Resistant Rickets (VDRR) Rickets and even Genetic Rickets. Its notable characteristics are bowed legs, short stature, poor teeth formation causing spontaneous dental abscesses, and low blood phosphorus levels.
